Marcel McCallum was born on Wednesday, June 4, 1947, in Pelican Narrows, SK, and passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021, in Prince Albert, SK, at the age of 73 years.

Marcel is survived by his loving family, his loving wife of 53 years, Maryann McCallum; his daughters, Flora, Lillian (Ralph), Annette (Dallas), Shelley (Blake) Ballantyne, Kristine, Lorraine (James), Gailynn (Lionel); his sons, Gavin (Lanita), Blair (Myrna), Rocky (Andrea), Trevor (Thelma), Travis (Sarah); his 81 grandchildren, 74 great-grandchildren; his daughters-in-law, Angie Merasty, Rachel McCallum; his sisters, Marjorie Bloomfield, Sylvia (Otto) Morin, Beatrice (Gordon) Custer, Karen McCallum; his brothers, Adolph (Susan), Gordon (Rebecca), Kenny, Emil (Colleen), Calvin (Vanessa); his in-laws, Annie Sewap, Jean Morin, Maggie Highway, Maggie Halcrow, Sylvia Sewap, Elizabeth (Peter), James (Maureen) Sewap, Joe Ballantyne, John Merasty, Isaiah (Lilian) Sewap, John Sewap; his special cousins, Rod Clarke, Leona (Ernest) Halkett; his special nieces, Karen (Russell) Chartier, Kathy Dusterbeck; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his sons, John (Harriet) McCallum and Marty McCallum; his parents, Joe & Veronique McCallum; his siblings, Kathleen, Sophie, Doris Merasty, Frank, Francis, Russell; his grandparents, Emile & Christina McCallum, Thomas & Elise Merasty; his father-in-law, Alphonse Sewap; his in-laws, Mary Ballantyne, Rebecca Sewap, Linda Sewap, Henry Sewap, Joe Bloomfield, Bernice McCallum, Theresa Sewap, Maryann McCallum; his grandchildren, Andrew Ballantyne, Blaise Pierre Merasty, Infant McCallum babies; his chapans, Neveah A.J. Charles, Chase Pearl McCallum-Fleury; his friends, Horace (Dorothy) Merasty, Lazar Morin; his nieces, Tammy, Francine, Amy B., Myra M.
