Magloire Phillip Dorion was born on Monday, January 12, 1931, in Sandy Bay, SK, and passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, in Pelican Narrows, SK, at the age of 89 years. Magloire is survived by his loving family, his children, Ralph Dorion, Leonard (Julian) Dorion, Audrey (Jacques) Dessureault, Gordon Dorion, Lillian (Isaiah) Sewap, Robin Dorion; his adopted children, Ursula (Duckoo), Oliver (Phonz), Bradley (Buster), Laurel (Apuk), Adrienne (Pigease), Nikki, Robynn (Lola), Albert Morin, Shirley Morin-Cook; his 67 grandchildren, his 172 great-grandchildren, and his 57 great-great-grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Lucy Dorion (nee McCallum); his children, Cecilia (Gabe) Dorion, Maryann (Solomon) Custer, Nancy (Napoleon) Okemau, Irene (Joe) Fosseneuve, Robert and Alice Dorion; his grandchildren, Violet McKenzie, Virginia Ballantyne, Robin McCallum, Lorraine Dorion, Sarah Fosseneuve, Baby Courtney; his great-great-grandchildren, Tandy McKay, Jerralyn Lucy McCallum; his parents, John and Marie (Michel) Dorion; his siblings (and their spouses), Alphonse (Marie) Dorion, Peter (Florence) Dorion, Henry (Jane) Dorion, Louisa (Solomon) Michel, Angelique (Cornelius) Bear. The Prayer Service for Magloire will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Thursday, March 12, 2020, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, Ti Le officiating. The Wake Services will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2020, at the residence of Magloire, in Pelican Narrows, SK; continued at 5:00 p.m., on Friday, March 13, 2020, at Wapanacak Elementary School, in Pelican Narrows, SK. The Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at Wapanacak Elementary School, in Pelican Narrows, SK, Father Heinner Paucar officiating.
