Madeline Margaret Ballantyne (choochee) (OOOOOO) was born on Sunday, March 26, 1967, in Flin Flon, Manitoba, and passed away on Monday, November 2, 2015, in Flin Flon, Manitoba, at the age of 48 years. Madeline is survived by her loving family, her parents, Joseph and Marie Rose Ballantyne, her companion, Williard Linklater, her children and grandchildren, Darla, Kona, Keya, Kyler, Kyrell, Dayna, Brielle, Doreen, Amelia, Desmond and Diana, her goddaughter, Eugenie Sewap, her sisters, Priscilla (David) Linklater, Janice (Henry) Sewap and Margaret (Ray) Custer, her brothers, Floyd, Jeffrey and Lawrence (Toni) Ballantyne, numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly, her aunties, Audrey Charles, Stella (Harry) McKay, Doreen (David) Linklater, Lorna (Bob) McCallum, Helen Michel, Darlene (Tony) Sewap and Harriet Jobb, her uncles, Martin (Margaret) Michel, George (Darlene) Michel, John (Shirley) Michel, Mark (Elizabeth) Michel, Hubert (Eva) Ballantyne, Arthur Ballantyne and Armand Ballantyne, and her grandparents, George and Mary Ballantyne and Harriet Merasty. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Solomon and Eugenie Michel and Peter and Angelique Ballantyne, her brothers, Cameron, Roland and Gary Ballantyne, her nieces and nephew, Camilla Ballantyne, Janita and Harrison Sewap, her uncles and aunties, Ovide Michel, Bill McKay, Joe (Christina) Michel, Sam (Caroline) Sewap and Jean Sewap, and her cousins, Jean Caribou, Jonathon Michel, Justin Michel, Melvin Michel, Kevin Michel, Brian Michel, Judy Caribou, Joseph H. Michel, Peter Sewap and Mikayla Michel. Interment was held at Moise Bear Memorial Gardens in Pelican Narrows, SK. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to RIVER PARK MEMORIAL CHAPEL, Carla Jesso, Funeral Director.
