Lynne was born on July 21, 1958 in Prince Albert, SK. Her first six years were spent in La Ronge. Just after her birthday in 1964 the family moved to Prince Albert just in time for her to enroll in the Kinsmen School. She loved it and was able to attend there until she was 13. Her father Victor Buckle died in 1970. By 1973 family changes led to her becoming a ward of Social Services. She spent 28 years with Metro and Jean Abramyk. It was a wonderful home for her and I will be forever grateful to them. Due to her illness in 2002, she was no longer able to say with them and she was placed in the Herb Bassett Home where she has been lovingly cared for. Lynne is survived by her mother Moira (Molly) Flannigan and 3 brothers, Richard in Prince Albert, Glen in Surrey, BC and Neil in Victoria, BC and several nieces and nephews. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Herb Bassett Home, 1220 – 25th Street West, Prince Albert, SK S6V 4N9. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray's Funeral Chapel, Marianne Turcotte, Funeral Director.
