Lynden Todd Jonas Starblanket

1991-2020

It is with great sadness that the family of Lynden Starblanket announces is his passing on August 30, 2020, at the age of 29.  Wake and funeral services will take place at Ahtahkakoop First Nation.  Lynden will be laid to rest at St. Mark’s Anglican Cemetery, Ahtahkakoop First Nation.

Lynden leaves to mourn his loving wife; Nekoda Love Masuskapoe; his children; Lyric Miyosiw Love, Ayvin Divine Blessing, Zane Jonas Juliani, and step-son Zachary Hunter Masuskapoe; his Father Vincent Starblanket(April Bowman); His sisters Maranda Starbalnket; Valerie Starblanket(Celeste Benjamin); Ginnickka Starblanket(Brett Meguinis); Mckayla Sasakamoose; Kya Starblanket(Shakoya Berland).  His Adopted Sisters Sasha; Sierra; Micah; Mercedes; Jaelynn.  His Adopted brothers Shawn Peekeekoot; Alex Starblanket. His Adopted Mother Anita Ahenakew.  His God Parents Eliza Sasakamoose and Kevin Starblanket.  His In-Laws Aaron & Samantha Masuskapoe; Jeshaiah Masuskapoe(Megan Daniels); Shekinnah Masuskapoe( Taylor Linklater); Vanyah & Serenity Masuskapoe.  His Grandparents Helen Peebles, Doreen Meyers, Cheryl Bird. 

He was loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, adopted family, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

Lynden was pre-deceased by His beautiful Mother Monica; his Maternal Grandfather Bill Peebles; His Paternal grandparents Jonas& Theresa Starblanket; His brother Tucky Starblanket.

The family of Lynden would like to say a thank you to all who sent prayers. moral/emotional support and to those who prayed and continue to pray for the family.  They would also like to thank Lynden’s previous co-workers and customers at Ahtahkakoop General Store.
