Lucy Freda Sanderson

August 20, 1929 – June 21, 2018

With sadness the family of Lucy Sanderson announces that she passed away on June 21, 2018. Lucy was born on August 20, 1929 at Mistawasis First Nation to Alex and Bella (nee: Ballantyne) Black. She is fondly remembered by her family and friends.

The wake service for Lucy commenced at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Bernice’s residence on Mistawasis First Nation. On Sunday, June 24, 2018 the wake was moved to Mistawasis Family Centre. Lucy’s funeral service took place at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 25, 2018 at the Mistawasis Family Centre with Mike Flannery officiating. Interment followed in the Mistawasis Presbyterian Cemetery.
