Lucille Louise Hill
(May 18, 1929 – August 27, 2011)
HILL, Lucille Louise of Prince Albert, SK passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at the age of 82. Lucille was born at Shellbrook, SK on May 18, 1929, one of seven siblings, to Frederick and Genevieve Alexander.
She was predeceased by her husband Conrad Hill; her first husband James Balfour; her parents; her sisters Eunice Curtis, Iona (Clifford) Henry and Orpha (Lloyd) Eldstrom; her brothers Emil Alexander and Lawrence Alexander and her brother-in-law Tommy Kvinlaug. Lucille is survived by her two daughters Rhonda (Denis) Trumier of Domremy, SK and Sherri Balfour of Prince Albert, SK; her four grandchildren Shaylee (Travis) Eckel and Branson Balfour, Jarrett and Brock Trumier; one step granddaughter Crystal (Denny) Duncan; two great grandchildren Austin and Colson Duncan; her sister Genevieve Kvinlaug; her sister-in-law Sheila Alexander and several nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances.
Lucille was a kind loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a friendly outgoing person who gave freely of her time and energy to those in need of help, be it young or old.
A private family service was held at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK. As per her request she was interred with her husband Con at the Veteran’s Field of Honour at the South Hill Cemetery.
