It is with broken hearts Gord Brown and Ashley McDonald announce the birth and death of their son Lowen Jack Brown on April 19, 2015.  Lowen is survived by his parents; grandparents Terri and Jack McDonald, Dolores Bundon (Dean Dubé), Dennis (Shelley) Brown, great grandpa and grandma, Bob and Bev Bundon; great grandmas Merle Brown and Elsie Rocheleau, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  Lowen is predeceased by his sister Ella Rose; great aunty Bernice McDonald and great grandparents Jacquie and Lloyd Whitehead and Ken Rocheleau.  Thank you to Dr. Sivertson and Dr. Desilets and the RN Obstetrics staff, especially Joanne Kwok and Carol Trueman.  The Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28^th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Celebrant Sherry Ouellette.  In lieu of other tributes memorial donations may be made to the Victoria Hospital Foundation, 1200 – 24th St. West, P.A., S6V 5T4.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel, (306-922-4729).

 

A Lament for our Baby

 

We never got to hear you laugh,

You never saw us cry.

We didn’t get a chance to say “hello,”

You never said “goodbye”.

We didn’t think we could feel

so sad, lost and forlorn.

We never knew God chose his angels

before some of them were born.

Every baby is an angel

and every angel is divine.

God needed one in heaven,

he came down and took mine.

And although we are not together

we’re really not apart

for you will always occupy a space

deep within our hearts.
