It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Louise Albertine Mercredi, late of Fond Du Lac, SK at the age of 88 years.  Louise Albertine Mercredi was born August 22^nd, 1932, in Scott Lake, N.W.T.  Louise will be lovingly remembered by her children Napoleon (Georgina), Germain (Elaine), Noreen (Terry), Christine, Jenny (Brent), Tina (Matthew), Rose (Fred), Alex (Linda), Edwin, Louie (Corrine), Stanley (Tamara), Mary (Luke) & Jules (Stacy); her son-in-law Freddie Robillard; her grandchildren Sharon, Neil, Wanda (Devin), Gavin (Beth), Gretta, Rhonda, Georgette, Lorne, Gina, Cindy, Adolphus, Rebecca, John Ross, Jeremy, Josh, Jeremiah, Daniel, Elayna, Taylor, Theran, Christy (Deano), Bailey, Cody, Vanessa, Thomas, Thelma, Roxanne, Michelle, Phillip, Lynnie, Thurman, Alyx, Lorrie, Sheldon, Eric, Michelle, Carly, Haily, Isaiah, Shanley, Stewart, Teagan, Seth, Sidney, James, Maria, Chasity, Carter, Alyssa, & Daisy; her 34 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren; her goddaughter Corrine Sayazie (Modest); her in-laws Adolphus (Debbie), Emily, Mary (Matthew), Fred (Mary), Elsie, Helen (Willie John), Rosalie (George), & Augatha; her nieces Agnes, Beverly, Cindy, & Doris; her nephew Frank; her special friends Kanessa Mercredi, Mimi Powder, Fiona Medal, Georgina Pische, Meranda Steene, Rose Pacquette, Floyd Isadore, Lonnie Augier & Darrel Beavereye; special mention thanks to FDL Health Center Staff, AHA Nursing Staff, FDL Band, family & friends.  Louise was predeceased by her husband John James Mercredi; her daughter Judy Robillard; her grandsons Julian, Lyman, & Greg (Roseanne); her parents Paul & Jenny Whitedeer; her sisters Margaret (Bill), & Lena; her brothers Stan and Boniface; her in-laws Louie & Bernadette; her brothers-in-law William, Daniel, Gerald, Howard Mercredi, Norbert, Pierre, Napoleon & Thomas; her sisters-in-law Antoinette, Colombe, & Christine as well as numerous other family and friends.  A Wake Service will be commencing July 17^th, 2021, at the Residence of Christina Mercredi in Fond Du Lac, SK.  A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 20^th, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Roman Catholic Church in Fond du Lac, SK.  The Honourary Pallbearers were Neil, Gavin, Josh, Adolphus, John Ross, J.J, Cody, Jeremy, Theran, Thomas, Phillip, Lynnie, Eric, Thurman, Shanley, Isiah, Teagan, James, Stewart, Carter, Lorne, Daniel, Sheldon, Seth, & Sidney.  The Pallbearers were Napoleon, Germaine, Alex, Edwin, Louie, Stanley, Jules, Freddie, Terry, Matthew, Brent, Fred, & Luke.  Interment will be at the Fond du Lac Cemetery in Fond du Lac, SK.  Condolences can be sent to the family on our website at www.mackenziechapel.ca.  Arrangements in care of MacKenzie Chapel & Crematorium – Shellbrook Funeral Home.  Brian & Bev Stobbs, Renee Phaneuf & Mark Gyoerick. 306.763.8488.
