Louis Ray was born on Saturday, September 12, 1936, in Loon Lake, SK, and passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2020, in Prince Albert, SK, at the age of 83 years. Louis is survived by his loving family, his daughter, Sharon and her foster son Avery Wheeler, Granddog Timmie; his son, Gary (Brenda) and their children, Jarrett, Elyse, Taylor, Angelique; his brother, Leonard Ray; his brother-in-law, Max Linklater; his sister-in-law, Angelique Ray; numerous friends and family. He was predeceased by his wife, Theresa Merasty; his parents, Jess “Bud” Ray, Charlotte Bear-Ray; his brothers, Frank (Rosie) Ray, Art (Harriet) Ray, Ernie Ray; his sister, Madeline (Joe) Cadotte; his in-laws, Phillip (Helen) Merasty, Charlotte (Thomas) Clarke, Eugenie (Solomon) Michel, Josephine (Obert) Olsen, Angelique (Rapheal) Canada, Veronique (Joseph) McCallum, Flora Jane Linklater, Esther (Harvey) Richards, Mary Ann (Cornelius) Merasty-Bear. The Wake Services for Louis will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, February 24, 2020, at Senator Allen Bird Memorial Hall, in Prince Albert, SK, and continued on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at Garry Morin Memorial Hall, in Sandy Bay, SK. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, in Sandy Bay, SK, Father Heinner Paucar officiating.
