September 9, 1927 – August 24, 2016

 

Louis Stanley Podborochynski, aged 88, resident of Meath Park, SK passed away on August 24, 2016.  Louis is survived by his wife of 66 years, Sylvia; children Gary (Marion) Podborochynski, Ron (Debbie) Podborochynski, Susan Jorgensen, Karen (Bob Nitychoruk) Clark, and Grace (Rod) Hrischuk; and grandchildren Bradley (Mena Santorianni) Jorgensen, Diana (Colin Wandzura) Podborochynski, Rachel (Tyler Gorman) Podborochynski, Daniel Podborochynski, Arron Podborochynski, Fallon (Alyssa Lockwood) Merkowsky, Meghan Merkowsky, and Shaun, Justin, Colin and Lindsay Hrischuk.  Louis farmed his entire life at Janow Corners, loved music and played in several bands.  Special thanks to the nursing staff at the Victoria Hospital, Drs. Halyk and Ali and the pharmacists at Walmart.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, 581 – 9th Street East, Prince Albert, SK on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Celebrant Reverend Father Jim Kaptein.  Lunch and Interment to follow.  In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations may be made to the Sask.
