It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Louis Leonard Bendonie, late of Prince Albert, SK on July 12^th, 2023, at the age of 67 years. Louis was born in Brochet, MB on April 6^th, 1956, to Eugene & Adele Bendonie. Louis will be lovingly remembered by his sons Marty Bendonie, & Mark Bendonie; his stepdaughters Elizabeth Oman, Michelle Oman, Sandra Oman, & Candace Oman; his siblings Alphonse (Sara), Edward (Therese), Gordon (Joyce), Allen (Helen), Jean, Doris (Leonard), David Lawrence, Ruby (Jerome), Raymond, Virginia (Jean), Oliver, Bernice, & Elsie (Brian); his nieces & nephews Jonathan, Charlotte, Jackie, Edward John, Julie, Greg, Cheryl, Jennifer, Doreen, Daniel, Andy, Timson, Dale, Jamie (Josette), Jordon, Charlene, Preston, Jason, Jade, Eddy, Andre, Adrienne (George), Jenny (Paul), Charmaine (Thomas), Tara, Tamara, Gayle, Randall, Alice, Patricia, Felicia, Olivia, Roger, Richard, Shania, Jordy, Janalee, Brooklyn, Jimmy, Kelsie, Chelsie, Kendall, Keesha, Elishia, Kenstien, Leona, & David; his uncle Ralph Cook; his sisters-in-law Sara (Yassie) Bendonie, & Rita (Robillard) Bendonie; his friends Dwight Bergstrom, Jimmy Montgrand, Edwin Boneleye, Joe Bigeye, Edward St.Pierre, & Celine Toutsaint; as well as many great nieces & nephews, family in Brochet and surrounding communities. Louis was predeceased by his parents: Eugene & Adele; his brother Stanley; his sisters Marie & Susan; his nieces & nephews Jacqueline, Jessica, Olivia, Jerome, Chad, & Nayden; his grandparents Louison Cook, Pascal & Elise Bendonie; his brothers-in-law Pierre Josie, & Albert Linklater; his cousin Helen Robillard; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. A Wake Service will be commencing Monday, July 17^th, 2023, at the residence of Doris Linklater, Wollaston Lake, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 19^th, 2023, at 2 PM at the St. Adrian Roman Catholic Church, Wollaston Lake, SK. The Officiant was Father Joji Chandamala. The Honourary Pallbearers are all those who knew and loved Louis. The Pallbearers are Lawrence Bendonie, Gordon Bendonie, Edward Bendonie, David St.Pierre, Roger Tsannie, Daniel Bendonie, Alphonse Bendonie, Jordon Josie, & Brian Henderson. The Interment will take place at the Wollaston Lake Cemetery in Wollaston Lake, SK.
