Lorraine Edith Neider Gaudet
May 28 1936 – October 13 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our maman, mom, mémère, Lorraine on October 13 2023 at her home, surrounded by her family, at the age of 87. Lorraine Neider was the spouse of Arcade Gaudet and the daughter of the late Lucie Martin and Wilfrid Neider.
Lorraine was a loving mother and grandmother who found great joy in inviting you in for a coffee, a great meal or a walk through her flowers and garden to share with us her joy of nature. Her door was always open. She always said that there was never a reason to be bored and she revelled in bird watching, painting, crocheting, playing Yahtzee, quilting and playing on her Ipad. She was always willing to learn something new and shared her skills with everyone who was interested to learn.
Left to cherish her memory and mourn her passing are her children, Lucille (Gilles) Cousin, Léo (Val née Bremner) Gaudet, Arsène, Willy (Chris née Kobrynsky) Gaudet, Phyllis Madden (Gord Mazzei), Emile (Jackie née Fiddler) Gaudet, Gérald, Linda (Ivan) Cyr, Dot Gaudet (Mike St. Germaine) and Denise (Denis) Sirois, 31 grandchildren and 65 great grandchildren. She is survived by her two brothers Bruno and Frank, one sister Annette, one sister-in-law, Aline and numerous nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by her husband Arcade Gaudet, her mother and father Lucie and Wilfrid Neider, her sister Dot Neider, her son-in-law Dale Madden, her daughter-in-law Maxine Ens, her grandchild Vanessa Gaudet and numerous brothers and sisters in law and friends.
Interment in St. Isidore de Bellevue cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Kushneryk Funeral Service.

A Prayer Vigil will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023 at 7:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 10:00 am. Both services will be held at the St. Isidore Roman Catholic Church in Bellevue, Saskatchewan, with Rev. Fr. Matthew Nguyen as officiant. Interment will be held at the St. Isidore Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bellevue, Saskatchewan. Donations in memory of Lorraine can be addressed to the Bellevue Care Home.
