Lorna Mary Larsen
April 17, 1927 – March 24, 2013

The family of Lorna Larsen are sad to announce the passing of their Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. The Lord took Mom to be a part of His Family in heaven on Sunday March 24, 2013. Left to mourn her passing are daughter Sandi, & her children Curtis, Whitney & Jolynne as well as their father Jim Huculak. Daughter Linda (Raymond) Turcotte and children Bonnie (Martin) Degagne and their boys Riley & Jaden, Rayleen (Marty) Mayer with their children Samuel, Julia & Rebecca, and Kerry (Larry) Toews with their children Devon & Alanna. Mom is also survived by brother-in-law Tom and wife Eileen Larsen, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Arne and their daughter Brenda. She was also predeceased by her parents Alex and Carrie Clark, her brother Ches Clark, in-laws Einar and Karen Larsen and brother-in-law Henry and wife Reta Larsen. Born and raised in SK, Mom spent most of her life in Prince Albert and then retired to Medicine Hat in 2003. Mom was a very social person who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a regular on coffee row with all her close lady friends whom we affectionately referred to as the “Golden Girls”. As a dedicated sports fan you could often find Mom cheering on her favorite curling or ball teams. She was an especially avid hockey fan and held Raider season tickets along with Dad for over 30 years. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the Prince Albert Alliance Church, 2777 – 6th Avenue West, Prince Albert, SK with Pastor Mark Bergen and Pastor Craig Hollands officiating. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens with lunch to follow at the Church hall. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
