Lori Elaine Williams
(nee Byrne)
July 22, 1958 – November 10, 2010
It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our dear wife, mother and grandmother, Lori Williams. Lori passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 with her family by her side. Born July 22, 1958, she attended East Central School until grade eight, then attended the Composite High School until grade eleven and completed her grade twelve at Carlton High School. In 1974, she met Tom whom she married two years later. In 1979, she designed their house which they built with the help of family and friends. She had a long, enjoyable career at Canadian Tire. Lori’s one great joy was with Tom turning their dream house into a home. Raising three beautiful children, they watched them grow through soccer, dance, music, university and become well-rounded adults. Lori especially liked spending time with family and friends around the dinner table. She will be sadly missed by all who met her. Lori’s legacy is remembered by her loving husband Tom; her daughters Mandi (Chad), and Kasi (Terry); her son Drew (Melissa); her grandsons Jude, Mackenzie and William, and expected twin granddaughters; two brothers Bev (Carol) and Gordon (Shirley); sisters-in-law Sunni (Yvonne), Betty (Terry), Leslie (Richard) and Barbara; brothers-in-law Garry, David (Collette) and Christopher (Samantha); mother-in-law Louise Williams and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Earl and Ida Byrne; her brother Bryan Byrne; father-in-law Bud Williams; brothers-in-law Don Williams and Michael Williams; sister-in-law Brenda Williams; and nephew Jordan Williams. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, 589 – 9th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Tony Thompson officiating. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other tributes, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray's Funeral Chapel, Lorne Adams, Funeral Director.
