KOPP, Loretta Margaretha
1921 – 2013

Mrs. Loretta Kopp, late of Prince Albert, SK, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2013 at the age of 92 years. Loretta was born January 10, 1921 on the family farm near Humboldt, SK to John and Mary Cales. She married James Kopp on March 1st, 1943 and they settled in Humboldt, SK. In 1960 James and Loretta moved with their family to Prince Albert, where they resided until their passing. She was an avid gardener and was very involved in her church, especially with the annual church bazaar. She is survived by her children, son Kenneth (Ruth) Kopp of Fredericton, NB; daughter Elaine (James) Bantle of Prince Albert; son Thomas (Kimhun) Kopp of Penticton, BC and daughter Jane (David) Schultz of Prince Albert; grandchildren Corinne Bantle, Brad (Denise) Bantle, Christopher (Lesya) Bantle, Stephen (Monica) Kopp, Jason Cook (Brittany Christianson) and Amber Cook (Clayton Veilleux); great grandchildren Gavin & Caitlin Veilleux, Kiana Deller-Cook, and Hugo Kopp; sisters-in-law Mary Robinson, Dorothy Benson, Jean Hutch and Maryann Kopp; brothers-in-law Wilfred Benson, James Hutch and George Kopp; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband James in 1984; sisters Cunnigunda, Cecilia (John) Korte, Beatrice (Joe) Korte, Theresa (Nick) Bernhard and Alma and brother Alphonse (Theresa) Cales. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday April 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, 589 – 9th Street East, Prince Albert, SK. with Celebrant Reverend Father Maurice Fiolleau and Co-Celebrant Reverend Father Travis Myrheim. In lieu of other tributes memorial donations can be made to the Saskatchewan Lung Association, 1231- 8th Street East, Saskatoon, SK S7H 0S5. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
