It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the heart of our family, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Auntie, and Best Friend. Surrounded by loved ones, Linda Time passed away peacefully on December 20th,2025, at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 77.
Linda was born on April 23rd,1948, in Birch Hills, SK, to Gordon and Nina Broadfoot. She was the youngest of 3 children. Throughout her life, Linda was known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering support for those around her. Linda touched the lives of many, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Linda married her high school sweetheart, Ken Time in May of 1964, a loving marriage of 39 years, having four children.
Linda and Wayne MacGillivary met after the loss of each of their spouses, nurturing a loving relationship for 21 years. Creating special memories and bonds with everyone they met throughout their lives.
Her loving family survives Linda, her daughters Shaunene (Terry) Sorowski and Lorelei Time (Bruce), her son Greg Time (Mona), her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Tyler Sorowski (Rosa), Eleanor and Poppy, Justin Sorowski (Erin), Alissa Wudrich (Jace), Dylan, Lily, Emrys, Jenna Sorowski (Danny) and Colby Sorowski (Victoria). Tyson Hegg (Jessica), Tessa Hegg. Kenedy Time (Colby), Chelsea Panchyshyn and Kelsey Clayton, her siblings Vern Broadfoot, Jean (Orval) Larson, her very special nieces and nephews, her special family members Boyd Hegg, Dwayne MacGillivary, and Blair (Christine) MacGillivary and their children, Rylan and Tyson.
Linda was predeceased and will be welcomed with open arms by her spouse Ken Time (2003), her son, Kent Time (2003), her partner Wayne MacGillivary (2025), her parents Gordon (1993) and Nina Broadfoot (2010), her father and mother-in-law Olav (1991) and Liv Time (1992), her sisters-in-law and brothers, Ione Broadfoot (2009), Sharron Landreau (2023), Curtis Time (2020), Orvin (2015), and Maureen Time (2025).
Linda has had very many significant bonds and relationships and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Linda will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and the unforgettable mark left on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
To celebrate Linda’s life, there will be a graveside service held at Lake Park Cemetery, date to be determined in the spring. This will be a closed service to gather, honour and remember the remarkable life that Linda lived.
