Lillian Berge

Berge – Lillian (Nee Bergstrom) late of Prince Albert, passed away peacefully at Victoria Union Hospital in Prince Albert on May 25, 2016 in her 100th year. She was born in the Jumping Lake area of Saskatchewan on April 18, 1917. In 1942 she married Hjalmer Berge and farmed in the Hagen area until 1960 when Prince Albert became their home. She lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed having her family around. She really loved all of her great grandbabies. Her eyes would light up every time she saw them. She was a very feisty woman who loved her flowers and never said no to a game of cards. She is survived by her four children; Dean of Prince Albert, Carolyn (Randy) Braaten of Sherwood Park Alberta and their children Kara, Jana, Cameron, Stacey and Courtney, Barry (Colleen) of Prince Albert and their daughter Taylor and Jason, Devon, Cole, Chad and Leah and their mother Barb Wiberg, Allan (Vicky) of Martensville and their children Amy, Taryn and Derek. She is also survived by the spouses of her grandchildren as well 25 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Hjalmer in 1990 and all of her siblings. A prayer service will be held Saturday May 28 7:00 pm at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel – 130 9th Street East, Prince Albert. The funeral will take place on Sunday May 29 at Messiah Lutheran Church – 1796 15 Ave E, Prince Albert at 3:30 pm. Donations may be made in memory of Lillian to Messiah Lutheran Church.
