It is with great sadness that we, the family of Lew Tolley, announce his passing at the age of 69 on Saturday, July 20, 2013. Lew was born in the town of Shellbrook, SK on January 14, 1944. He was a Professional Firefighter with the Prince Albert Fire Department for 30 years, local school bus driver and avid handy man for the Elks Homes and A & W. Throughout his life, Lew enjoyed traveling to and participating in curling bonspiels, visiting Mexico, camping, BBQ’s, playing cards, downhill skiing, occasional fishing trips, classic cars, being an active member of the Elks, good times with family and friends as well as donating his time to numerous charities within Prince Albert and the province. Lew is survived by his wife Bonnie (nee Jenkins); his mother Florence Tolley; his daughter and son-in-law Dawn (Leon) Brown; his son Darren; his grandchildren Devon and Jenna Brown; his sister Adele Freimark (Doug Farnsworth); his brothers and sisters-in-law Terry (Dianne) Tolley, Daryl (Lorna) Tolley; his sister and brother-in-law Shirley (Paul) Kuffert; his aunt Doreen Elliot; his uncle Bill Donald; nieces, nephews, cousins with additional brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law across Canada. He was predeceased by his father Ralph Tolley; his brother-in-law George Freimark; his uncles John Donald, Robert “Bud” Donald; Ken Elliot; his aunt Lucy Donald; his mother-in-law and father-in-law John and Verna Jenkins; his brother-in-law Rick Jenkins and his nephew Brad Jenkins. Please join the family in a Celebration of Life on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ches Leach Lounge at the Art Hauser Center. Interment will take place in the Garden of Sermon on the Mount, Prince Albert Memorial Gardens.
