Leslie Lawrence (Les) Pomedli passed away at the young age of 60 years on Friday, November 14, 2014 at the Regina Pasqua Hospital after losing a long battle with Cancer.
Les was born August 5, 1954 in Prince Albert, SK. After graduating high school, Les received his Millwright from Kelsey Campus in Saskatoon. He then moved back to Pleasantdale where he enjoyed playing hockey and baseball for the local sports teams. Les also enjoyed curling and golfing. He quickly took up farming with his father and started to work at Bourgault Industries as a journey-man welder. He resided on the farm outside of Pleasantdale and he continued to farm while working at Bourgault for 30 years.
Les is survived by his father and mother Lawrence and Jean Pomedli, his wife of 30 years Velvet (Kager), son Eric Pomedli, and two daughters Stephanie Pomedli and Trina (David) Martens, and his granddaughter McKenna Martens that he welcomed earlier this year. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his grandparents Rutt & Margaret Woolsey, and Mike & Helen Pomedli.
