It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend Len. He was born in Wolseley, SK to Peter and Leona (nee Lavadiere) Ripplinger. He grew up in Regina, SK and joined the Canadian Army (PPCLI) serving from 1966 to 1970, mostly in Germany. Len worked for the City of Prince Albert for 32 years before retiring in 2003. After retirement he worked in a casual capacity for First Bus Canada. Len loved all sports; played hockey and baseball as a young man and in later years he was an avid golfer and curler. He loved playing duplicate bridge and took great pride in achieving Silver Life Master status. He loved and supported his grandchildren in all of their endeavours. Len became ill in December, and in the early morning hours of August 30th, surrounded by his family he succumbed to his illness. Len is survived by his loving wife Debbie (nee Folster); his sons Brett Ripplinger of Saskatoon, SK, Jason (Stephanie) Ripplinger of Prince Albert, SK and Colin (Leanne Harris) Ripplinger of Prince Albert, SK; his daughter Nicole (Shane) Wilkinson of MacDowell, SK; grandchildren Brooke (Zach), Joshua, and Morgan Ripplinger; Dane Ripplinger, Chassidy (Michael), Tristin and Adrian Wilkinson.
