In loving memory of Leonard Emile Pages
Leonard was born August 22, 1941, in Canwood, SK and passed away after a battle with Cancer, at the age of 80 years on June 19, 2022, in Canwood, SK with his wife Flora by his side.
Leonard moved around quite a bit in his childhood, starting school in Mattes, then moving with his parents to Jackson Lake and finally to Debden. After attending school, he worked in the bush for a few years. He then went onto farming at his parents’ homestead. He met Flora in the early sixty’s and got married November 12, 1966. They both had worked side by side until it was too much land to keep milking cows. Leonard then started a hobby farm which he built a bit bigger every year. he did what he loved best. Flora and Leonard bought a house in Debden in 2004 and lived there together until his passing.
Leonard enjoyed gardening and watching his fruit trees produce good sized apples. He loved to go fishing and hunting in his spare time, he also loved watching hockey, boxing, and horse races on TV. He also loved reading books on those cold days.
Leonard is survived by his wife of 55 years, Flora; his siblings, Cecile (Rejean Vallarand) of Montreal, QC, Louis Pages of Queen Charlotte, BC, Philip (Karen) Pages of Reed Deer, AB.
