We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Leonard (Len) George Campbell on Friday, October 31, 2025, at the age of 87, in Rosthern, Saskatchewan.

Len was born in Prince Albert, SK, on March 19, 1938, to Stewart and Dorothy Campbell. He grew up in the Midtown area of Prince Albert alongside his two older sisters, Evelyn and Liona. Len attended the local elementary school and later graduated from PACI High School.

An exceptional athlete, Len enjoyed playing baseball and spent time in Holland pursuing his passion for hockey. After returning to Prince Albert, he worked for Sask Liquor and could often be found golfing at the Cooke Municipal Golf Course or bowling at the Minto Bowl.

On May 31, 1974, Len married Sharon Campbell, becoming a loving stepfather to Randy, Sue, and Tim. Len was a devoted husband and father who supported his family in every way—coaching sports, attending concerts and games, and driving to countless movies, lessons, and tournaments.

Len retired at the age of 58, and he and Sharon spent their retirement years traveling to visit their children and grandchildren. They later lived in Okotoks, AB, for 15 years before settling in Rosthern, SK.

Len will be lovingly remembered by his wife Sharon; his children Randy (Karen) of Calgary, AB; Sue (Marty) of Regina, SK; and Tim (Nicole) of Rosthern, SK; as well as his grandchildren and great-grandchildren Miranda (Andrew), Graydon, Max (Mackenzie), Colton, Sam, Josie, Simon, Noah, and Jack. He is also fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Len was predeceased by his parents, Stewart and Dorothy, and his sisters Evelyn and Liona, along with their husbands.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the Mennonite Nursing Home and Sunrise Place for their compassionate care of Len.

A celebration of Len’s life will be held for family and close friends at The Station Arts Center, 701 Railway Avenue, Rosthern, SK on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. Please feel free to stop in and share memories of Len.
