September 19, 1931 – June 6, 2016

It is with deep longing in our hearts that we announce the passing of Leona (Lee) Sims at the age of 84.  Leona passed away peacefully in her home with family by her side on June 6, 2016.  Leona will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children: Marvella (Billy), Bruce (Aima), Alberta (Kelly), Debbie and Bugsy (Jimmy); her grandchildren: Christina (James), Kristal (Kale), Liam, Amanda (Trevor), Jacquo, LeeAnne (Adam), Mandel, Ocean and RayAnn; her 14 great grandchildren and she will also be missed by her most cherished friend Christine.  Leona was born September 19,1931 in Tignish, PEI.  She was one of a kind, fuelled with sass and a lot of spunk.  Putting others first, Leona would help out whenever she could when it came to family. Friends and family always knew no matter the time of day, the door was always open and coffee/tea was always on.  A Celebration of Life will be held July 30, 2016 at the Army & Navy in Prince Albert, SK.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel (306) 922-4729.
