Lela Kay Bird

February 16, 1969 – October 4, 2020

The family of Lela Kay Bird is saddened to announce that she passed away on October 4, 2020. She was born on Febuary 16, 1969 to George and Olive (nee: Ahenakew) Bird.

Lela is lovingly remembered by: her husband, Darcy Bjornson; her children, Caleb Bird, Jessica Bird and Ashley Bjornson; her grandsons Cassius and Rickell Bird and her granddaughter, Tazzanah Morin as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Wake and funeral services will be held at the Ahtahkakoop First Nation Band Hall with Sam Halkett officiating. Interment will be in St. Mark’s Anglican Cemetery.
