May 16th, 1939 – June 8th, 2016
Lawrence (Larry) Vandale, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away suddenly on June 8th, 2016 at the age of 77. Larry was born on May 16th, 1939 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to parents, Albert and Amy Vandale. The family moved to Chitek where Larry grew up and attended school. After school he moved and worked on the Alberta Pipeline. He later moved to Prince Albert and worked for the Saskatchewan School Board, where he retired from in 2003. Larry was a member of the Prince Albert and Forest Lawn Legion for 35 years. He was an avid shuffleboard player and a bowler. Larry is survived by his loving wife, Margaret, his son Dwayne, daughter-in-law Wendy, granddaughter Leah, sisters, Patsy Dougan, Mariane Racine, Shirley (Jack) Morin and brother Doug (Dell) Vandale. He was predeceased by his parents, his first wife, Fern, and several siblings. The family would like to thank all those who knew and loved Larry. There will be a Celebration of Life on June 15th at the Forest Lawn Legion in Calgary, AB at 2PM. Also there will be a come and go Celebration of Life on June 18th at the Legion in Prince Albert, SK. Starting at 3PM.
