It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lawrence “Larry” Lemieux on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the age of 79 years, after a brief illness.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Jeanne of 60+ years; four daughters, Jackie (Trevor), Sandra (Jackson), Elaine (Darren), and Joan (Herb); nine grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and a great many nephews and nieces.

Larry was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. He is pre-deceased by his parents, Adolphe and Helene Lemieux; sisters, Edna, Lorrette, and Cloe; and his brother, Reverend Father Claude Lemieux. He is survived by his sister Bernie (Wendell) McRann of North Battleford, SK; brothers, Lenord (Isabel) of Bellevue, SK, Ben (Lorraine) of Sylvan Lake, AB, Vic (Janet) of Prince Albert, SK, and Roger (Jackie) of St. Albert, AB, as well as his brother-in-law, Ray Brunning of St. Albert, AB.  We all remember Larry for his love of laughter and family gatherings. He will be deeply missed by his family and the countless friends he had in St. Albert and Area.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Larry’s name to Holy Family Parish Roof Project, 75 Poirier Ave., St. Albert, AB – T8N 6A1.
