Mrs. Laurette Louise Bzdel, age 82, of Prince Albert, passed away peacefully in Prince Albert on Friday, August 16, 2013. She was born Wednesday, July 22, 1931 in Paradise Hill, SK, the daughter of Adolph and Helen Lemieux. Laurette is survived by her loving family: her husband Raymond; her son and daughter-in-law Paul and Brenda, her daughter-in-law Cecile; her grandchildren Darren, Dion, David, Bryan, Roseanna, Ryan, Matthew, Joshua; her four great-grandchildren Brina, Owen, Oliver, Zayden; her sisters Cloey, Bernadette (Wendal), Edna (Ray); her brothers Victor (Janet), Leonard (Isabelle), Lawrence (Jean), Ben (Lorraine), Roger (Jackie); her many, many beautiful nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by: her son Donald; her mother and father Adolph and Helen Lemieux; her brother Claude; her nephew Roland; her brother-in-law Donald Regnier. Laurette enjoyed living at Hilltop Towers where she made many friends as she and Ray acted as building managers. Laurette spent many happy hours quilting, leaving beautiful quilts for friends and family to enjoy. Funeral Mass celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 21, at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church with Father Roque Concepcion officiating.
