It is with heavy hearts that the family of Lauren Catherine Keenatch, late of Prince Albert, SK, announce her sudden passing on Sunday, August 1, 2021, at the young age of 19 years. Lauren was born on July 15, 2002, in Saskatoon, SK, to Pauline Keenatch & Larry Ratt.
The Wake Services for Lauren will commence on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. from the Big River First Nation Elementary School Gym with the Funeral Service taking place on Friday, August 6, 2021, at 11:00 a.m also from the school gym. Lauren will be laid to rest in the Whitefish Catholic Cemetery by the river.
Lauren is lovingly survived by, her mother, Pauline Doris Keenatch; her father, Larry Ratt; her siblings: Robert (Lisa) Umperville, Dwight Keenatch, Tyler Keenatch, Reno Keenatch, Ovide Keenatch; her grandparents, Lona (James) Keenatch
Larry Ratt Sr., Annie Ratt (Melvin Sewap); as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Lauren was predeceased by, her grandfather, Roger Morin; her great grandparents: Catherine Keenatch, Roy Chamakese, Wilson Morin, Madeline Morin,
Roger’s sisters Vernice and Iona Morin; her aunties, Sheila Morin and Cynthia Keenatch; her cousins, Dustin Chamakese and Cynthia Morin.
The elders will officiate the services for Lauren. Honorary Pallbearers are all family and friends who knew and loved Lauren. The Pallbearers will be Joseph Keenatch, Theoren Almightyvoice, Joshua Lachance, Harvey Keenatch, Eric Lachance, & Reuben Morin.
