Kyle Raymond Bear “Nistam Pîkiskwêwin Kâ-pehtaman”
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the tragic passing of our beloved Kyle Bear January 20, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario. He leaves to join his grandparents, Joe Louis Bear and Mary Taylor, Clifford Ronald Mair; his brother-in-law, Alexander Bigsky; his aunts, and uncle, Caroline Alexander Bear, Florence and Stan Harper; cousins and aunts from the Ponace family. Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Zena Bear; his brothers and sisters, Ken, Kevin, Kristen, and Kimberly; his step-father, Edward (Christine) Ponace; his children whom he loved dearly, Kaorie Bear and Neko Standingready; his best friends, Bradley Cardinal, Jack Blacksioux and Dieter Caribou. He also leaves behind his Bear family from Muskoday FN Prince Albert SK, his Mair Family from Moosomin FN, North Battleford; and his Ponace family From Sakimay and Regina SK. Kyle was born on December 15, 1982, in Regina, SK and grew up in Regina with his family and siblings. Kyle was known for his awesome break dancing, and his love for art, he was a fantastic painter. Kyle loved spending time with his family, loved the city of Toronto and travelling with the carnival every year. Everyone who met Kyle gained an immediate friend. Kyle loved to laugh and have fun; he was kind and always willing to help anyone with anything. He had a caring soul. He is loved and will be missed immensely. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Muskoday First Nation Band Hall. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in St. James Anglican Cemetery, Muskoday First Nation, SK.
