It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Kirk Oliver Hunt. Kirk was born in Dinsmore Saskatchewan on March 27 1961 to Floyd and Betty Hunt. Kirk grew up with six brothers and sisters in a home built with so much love and happiness. His entire life was focused around peace and love. He travelled the country making curling ice, working as town managers but his biggest achievement was his love for his children and grandchildren. Kirk had a passion for photography and loved exploring the dirt roads to find wildlife and the northern lights. The later years of Kirks life was consumed by the love of his grandchildren Harper, Oliver & Hunter. Kirk took a special interest in learning more about Autism and being a huge advocate for his grandson Hunter. Kirk was always extremely close with his children Charlie and Alison and the three amigos were all together right until the end.
Kirk is predeceased by his father Floyd Hunt, his brother Melvin Hunt and the love of his life Theresa Crellin. He is survived by his children Charlie (Lindsay) Hunt, & Alison (Chris) Mysiorek, his grandchildren Harper Oliver & Hunter, there were many people who love and admired Kirk for his humour, his laugh and his ability to put a smile on everyone’s face. The family of Kirk Oliver Hunt ask that in Lieu of flowers that donations be made to Autism services Saskatoon in his name to continue his legacy of support for his grandchild.
