Keyston Keyoma Cree Lathlin
A.K.A “Keeboo”
Age 22 years
Keyston Keyoma Cree was born April 24, 2003 in Saskatoon, SK at Royal University Hospital to Lylia Lathlin & the late Merle Head. He passed on December 2, 2025 in Prince Albert, Sk. He finished Partial 12 at Carlton Comprehensive High School. He had just finished his firefighting training this summer. He was able to go on 2 tours with family and met many new friends during this time. He was ready to enjoy his next tours the next year until his sudden passing. He enjoyed meeting new friends online on xbox and social media also. He was a person where he would make sure everyone was okay and make them smile with his laugher, jokes and anything he would do to make someone’s day. He always cared for family and made sure his family was okay. He grew up in Shoal Lake with his siblings, his adopted family Madeline Rose Sinclair, the late dad William Fiddler, two adopted brothers Chad and Craig. Keyston had the opportunity to have 3 fathers growing up (his dad Merle, his adopted dad William, and his grandfather Eric). He met Emma in 2017 and they were blessed with a son. He will be very missed by his family, friends, and everyone who knew him.
Keyston is survived by: his loving family, his son Trevon Keyoma Cree Lathlin, mother – Lylia Lathlin, sisters: Kisha L (Mario), Tasha L, Kanisha L, Karisha L, brother Kashtin L, and adopted brothers Chad Y. & Craig Y, godparents and adoptive parents: Madeline S & the late William F,
He is predeceased by: dad – Merle C. R. Head, adopted dad William F.
Funeral was on December 10, 2025 in Shoal Lake Cree Nation at Wacihk Education Complex
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Coventry Funeral Services, Nipawin, SK.
