Kevin Souter
1964 ~ 2024

Kevin James Souter born October 18, 1964, late of Prince Albert, SK, passed away at Victoria Hospital on April 9, 2024, at the age of 59 years. Kevin was born in Melfort, SK, and moved to Prince Albert with his parents when he was just 1 year of age, where he spent the rest of his life.

Kevin spent a lot of his time growing up in the rodeo circuit all over western Canada with his parents and younger brother, Bryan. He played a very important role within the Métis Society of Prince Albert, Prince Albert Winter Festival, the Prince Albert Wrestling Club, and the Prince Albert Exhibition Association. Kevin and his wife Lois Trann (Souter) met at the CNR picnics as kids which led them to dating through high school, which led them to marriage in their early 20s on May 4, 1986. From there, starting their beautiful family of 3 children: Cody, Levi and Katelyn Souter. Kevin’s favorite hobbies, just to name a few, were dog sled racing for almost 20 years, horseback riding his entire life, being out at the farm or anything outdoors among the many talents and skills he had. He was admired by many and loved by all.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Lois Souter; children, Cody, Levi and Katelyn Souter; grandchildren, Draven, Anna, Kayden and Damian Lamarche; son-in-law, Travis Lamarche; and numerous other dear relatives, family and friends.

He was predeceased by his father, James Bryan Souter; mother, Nellie Iris Souter; brother, Bryan Alexander Russell Souter; among many other family members.

The funeral service for Kevin will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, April 26, 2024, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, with Rev. Rick Martin officiating.
