1962 – 2026
The family of Kevin McKay is deeply saddened to announce he passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2026. Kevin was born November 1, 1962, in Lloydminster, SK.
Kevin leaves to mourn his son, Darren (Leá) and grandchildren Jacques and Jules; his mother, Clara Baldwin and his sister, Cynthia Rohovich of Prince Albert; his partner, Audrey; his grandson, Ladainion of Saskatoon; his sister-in-law, Sara Parrey of North Vancouver; his brother, Dale of Saskatoon; his uncles, Melvin and Westley of Saskatoon; his aunt, Helen of Winnipeg; his best friend “Bear” Barry Holowenko of Saskatoon; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friend.
He was predeceased by his son, Andrew; his father, Dale of Saskatoon; his stepfather, Floyd Baldwin of Prince Albert; his brother, Perry of North Vancouver; his grandparents, Ferdinand and Liz Bantle, and Colin and Marge McKay of Prince Albert; and several uncles and aunts.
Kevin was born a nature boy. In his younger years, many wildlife found refuge in his bedroom, and he was an avid dog lover. He was a man of many talents and ambitions. He was a sportsman, fisherman, and marvelled in marshal arts. He was also a collector of many sorts. His ambition never ceased when it came to his work. He was a carpenter and an excellent craftsman. He took pride in all he did. He had hands that could work magic. Kevin was a gentle soul with a big heart, always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need.
No formal service will be held at this time.
You will be truly missed, Kevin. May you rest in peace.
