Kenneth James Wilson was born in Whitewood, SK on May 18, 1958. He passed away in Saskatoon, SK on July 10, 2012 at the age of 54 years.
Ken was a loving husband, father, brother-in-law, uncle, son-in-law and friend who will be missed by all. Ken was a huge part of the Star City community and was involved in many organizations. He was on town council (for many years), the fire brigade, caretaker of the skating rink, and he was just always there. If anyone needed anything, he was the person to go to.
Ken’s many jobs included painting, dry walling, and lately, a lot of pruning. But his favourite job was working for the McMunns at their farm. In his spare time Ken liked to spend time with his family, especially the pets. Ken enjoyed life.
Ken is survived by his loving wife of 28 years Carla (nee Howells); two daughters Crystal (Preston) and Jaci (Roden); one grandchild on the way; his siblings Bonnie, Betty (Ron), Bill (Wendy), Mary (Rob), Bev, Glenda (Brad) and Shirley (Jeff); one step-sister Maureen; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and all his pets.
He was predeceased by his parents Clifford & Eunice.
