The family of Keith MacNaughton sadly announce his sudden passing on March 30, 2026, following a brief illness.
Keith was born June 21th, 1949 in Canora Saskatchewan. He grew up living on the family farm east of Norquay where he developed his love of the outdoors. Keith worked multiple jobs in many communities until his career with Indigenous Services Canada (INAC) took him to North Battleford, and then ultimately to Prince Albert where he resided for the past 35 years. This access to the north allowed Keith to pursue his love of fishing, hunting and camping.
He wore many hats in his life. Keith was a husband, a father, a papa, a friend, a neighbor and a jack of all trades. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, usually accompanied by a smile, a joke and even a drink. He had a great sense of humour, and will be remembered for his big smile and his even bigger hugs.
Keith will be lovingly remembered by his wife Lorine Kent; his daughters Brenna MacNaughton (Paul Hart), and Kristyn (Brody) Nemish; his bonus sons Chris Kent, and Nick Kent (Kindra); and his grandchildren Piper, Odin, Jonah, Juliet, Macklie, Vada, Hailey, Willa and Winnie; his siblings Ken (Shirley) MacNaughton, Karmen (Barry) Kurucz, Karen (Steve) Wolos, and Neil (Barb) MacNaughton; his bonus siblings Wilma Herber, Emma Scherle, Walter (Fay) Bitter, Marlene Fries, and Helen Bitter, and other numerous family members and friends.
Keith was predeceased by his parents Matt and Elsie MacNaughton.
In keeping with Keith’s wishes, no formal funeral services will be held. A Celebration of Keith’s Life will be announced at a later date.
