Keith Bright, 64, of Saskatoon SK, passed away peacefully in the Palliative Care Unit at St. Paul’s Hospital on Sept 16, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer.
A come and go Celebration of Life reception will be held for Keith at the Days Inn (2000 Idylwyld Dr. N, Saskatoon) on Tues, Sept. 20th, 2016 from 2-4 pm.
Keith was born in N. Battleford, SK and moved to Saskatoon with his family in 1960. He married his wife Judy in 1976. The family moved several times, residing in Wilkie for several years, Swift Current, and finally settling in Prince Albert where he worked as a partsman at Lakeland Ford (formerly Hillcrest Ford) for many years. Keith and Judy moved to Saskatoon in 2011.”
Keith and his family were involved in breeding and showing dogs for many years. He was always happiest at a dog show and enjoyed visiting with his dog show family. He will be missed by family and friends as well as his dog Patron, his constant companion.
Keith was preceded in death by his mother Mary, his father John, sisters Diane and Erma, and his brother Earl. Keith is survived by his wife Judy, daughters; Alison (Clint) of Saskatoon and Jennifer, of Eastern Passage, NS., five grandchildren; Austin, Jillian, Brooklyn, Rowan, and Alora, three sisters; Norma of Saskatoon, Bernice of Nanaimo, BC., and Marlene (Ed) of Calgary, AB, as well as some very special nieces and nephews.
The family would like to say a very special thank you to the wonderful doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers at the Palliative Care Unit at St. Paul’s Hospital. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency or the St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation.
