Sadly, the family of Kathy Paul announces her peaceful passing on September 17, 2019 at the age of 56 years. Born August 1963 to Florence and Howard, Kathy was the youngest of three. She was the perfect youngest sister because she was easy to pick on.
Kathy grew up in Prince Albert. The family moved around a little, but settled back home in Prince Albert. Eventually Kathy started a family of her own with three children: Krista, Teresa and Dustin. As the kids grew, Kathy loved to take them on road trips. One most memorable was when they all packed up and went to North Dakota. It was a 22 hour trip one way and Kathy did not stop. Kathy eventually became a grandma, and she loved her grandkids. She loved to crochet and paint, and was very talented at both. In her later years, Kathy was involved in activities at her residence at Sherman Towers before moving to the Victoria Hospital. She loved to go for coffee and play card games. When you spent time with her, her focus would be on you and no one else.
Kathy will be missed dearly by her children Krista (Lorenzo) Brassard, Dustin Paul and Teresa (Michael) Strandquist; her grandchildren, Brooklyn Brassard, Ava Brassard, Brenden Korecki, Damion Korecki, Chelsie Paul and Michael Strandquist; 1 great grandchild; her mother, Florence (Ed) Drangsholt; her grandmother, Mildred “Nanny” Moore; her siblings David (Charlene) Miller and Gwen (Grant) Wiltse; numerous aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews; and all those who loved her. She was predeceased by her father, Howard Miller; grandfather, Arthur Bliss “Poppy” Moore; niece, Charlene McKnight; cousin, Brent Ewert; granddaughter, Hanna Paul; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of Kathy’s life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2019 at the Prince Albert Union Centre, 107 8th Street East Prince Albert, SK. The family asks that you wear something with pink or purple.
