Kathy Mineau
1950 ~ 2023

Kathy (Kathleen Susan Moore) Mineau has gone to join her Maker and Saviour Jesus Christ on February 25, 2023. Born in Windsor, Ontario, September 10, 1950.

Left to mourn are her sons, David (Rose), and Trevor (Carolyn). She has been Grandma and Mama to Jason (Naomi), Michael (Jordy), Kelsey, Megan, Jairus, Rebekah and Elisa. Brothers, Don (Karen) and Jim; sisters, Jean Lang and Helen Roach; special friends, Patt and Blair Klassen and Shelley and Kim Klassen. Numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Predeceased by her husband, Raymond of 53 years; infant son, Jason James; parents, Harry and Catherine Moore; in-laws, Albert and Adeline Mineau; brothers, Danny (Helen) and Pat; sister, Pauline Wilder; special in-laws, Myron and Olive Mineau.

Mom met the love of her life on January 1, 1969, and married him on March 29, 1969. Firstborn son Jason James 1974, 2nd son David Eben 1976, 3rd son Trevor Ray 1979. Mom always said she was blessed with a loving husband and wonderful family.

Kathy was known for her endless dedication and compassion toward her family and friends, always putting others ahead of herself. She had a special bond with each one of her grandchildren. She loved deeply and took care of everyone around her, even to the end. Kathy was a Mom to everyone, and everyone called her Mom. Her last words were “I love you.” She has taught us so much by example. She loved and trusted God with all her heart.

Kathy had a variety of jobs over the years, always serving other people and making their lives easier. She made dear friends along the way. While living at the lake she enjoyed the outdoors, nature, watching wildlife (even when it came indoors!), and family gatherings. Her all-time favourite seasons were Christmas and Easter.
