Karen Dawn Forest

1981 – 2023

Karen Dawn Forest was born on March 12, 1981 in La Ronge, SK.  She passed away on January 3, 2023 in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 41.

Karen is survived by her dad, Buddy Forest; her children,  Bryce Forest (Shaye Natomagan), Kaitlin Forest (Bailey Lebel), and Alianna Forest; her grandchildren, Bryton Forest, Alexander Natomagan, and Saphirra Lebel; her sisters, Naomi Ross, Cheryl Ross, Shanelle Hall, and Brianna Forest; her brothers, Dallad Bird, Buddy Joel (BJ) Forest, Skeezix Forest, and Caiden Forest; her aunts, Sharon Ross, Charlotte Ross (Paul Sharpe), Hazel Forest, Violet Forest, and Skeezix Forest; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was predeceased by her mom, Catherine Jean Ross; her mother-in-law, Corrine Umpherville; her children’s father, Spencer Umpherville; her daughter, Sierra Forest; her uncles, George Ross, Jack Ross, and Rusty Forest; her aunts, Margaret Roberts, Christina Forest, and Molly Forest; her cousins, Barry Dean Heimbecker, John Sandy Ross and Howard Ross; her maternal grandparents, Sandy and Elizabeth Ross; and her paternal grandparents, Clair and Harriet Forest.

Wake Service will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2023 and continue at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 8, 2023.  Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 9, 2023. All services will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 1321 15^th Street West, Prince Albert, SK.  Interment will follow in the Molanosa Cemetery, Molanosa, SK
