Julius Halkett, age 89 years, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2015, in La Ronge, SK.  He was born December 26, 1925 in Morning Lake, SK.  A Wake Service was held at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 25 at Numepith Sepiy Hall, Sucker River, SK.  His Funeral Service was held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 26 from St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Sucker River. Officiants were Bishop Adam Halkett, Reverend Richard Custer, and Reverend Morris McKenzie. Julius is survived by his loving family: his sisters Annie Halkett & Sally Bird; his nieces and nephews Hannah Halkett & her children – Charlotte, Edwin, Lila; Virginia Roberts & her children – Jennifer, Tayven, Kristen, Teron; Victoria (Art) Eninew & children – Vonda, Maurice & Bella; Stella Bird (Jonathan), Betsy Bird; Cecil Halkett & his children – Jason, Robin & Norman; Joe (Mariam) Halkett & son – Jamie; John Bird (Marie), Rene Bird (Theresa); numerous other grandchildren & great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by: his parents Walter & Charlotte (nee Ratt) Halkett; his grandparents Antoine & Sally Halkett; his brothers Henry Halkett, Jeptha (Laura) Halkett, Stephen Halkett; his sisters Jean (John) Halkett, Maggie (Frank) Ross, Demar (John) Hastings; his uncles Willie, Alex & Fredrick Halkett; his aunt Emily Halkett; his nephews Amos Roberts & Hector Ratt; his niece Melinda Halkett.  Interment will take place at the Anglican Church Cemetery, Sucker River, SK.
