Julie is survived by her loving family, her children, Abrie Morin, Aden McKenzie; her stepchildren, Marcus, Cheyenne, Mercedes Morin, Brady Vermette; her grandson, Baby Brendyll and all of Mercedes children; the father of her children, Donald Morin; her parents, Gloria McKenzie, Douglas Halkett (Esther); her sisters, Candace Mirasty-McKenzie, Janelle McKenzie, Monique Halkett, Bonnie Halkett (Sam), Agnes Bear; her stepsister, Allison Isbister (Elmer); her brothers, Myles McKenzie, Ricky McKenzie (Sheila), Thomas Ratt, Joel Ratt, Jacky Ratt, Richard Halkett, Roger Halkett (Lana), Gregory Halkett (Robin), Rodney Ballantyne (Allysa), Billy Halkett; her aunts, Caroline Bear, Yvonne McKenzie, Sharon McKenzie (Wilfred), Bev Sanderson (Kevin), Lucy Henderson, Victoria Joseph, Phyllis Moccasin (Sandy), Lena Halkett; her uncles, Sandy McKenzie, Ernest Cook (Chico), Gilbert Halkett (Alice), Alex Halkett, John Boy Halkett, Henry Halkett; her kookums & mooshoom from Stanley Mission; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and her Ratt family.

She was predeceased by her grandparents, Robert & Agnes Halkett, Phillip & Elsie McKenzie; her brother, Richard “Richie” Ratt; her stepdad, Richard Ratt; her uncles, Isaac Halkett, Edward McKenzie, Clarence Bear, Samuel Halkett; her aunts, Shirley McKenzie and other relatives from Stanley Mission; her cousins, Cynthia McKenzie, Cynthia Henderson, Missy Peacock, Baby Elsie; her nephews, Baby Ashton and Richie; her stepson, Brendon Vermette.

The Prayer Service for Julie will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, with Margaret Ferchuk. The Wake Services will be held at 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, and at 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at the White Hall, in Little Red River Reserve, SK. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the White Hall, in Little Red River Reserve, SK, with Pastor Vern Temple officiating.
