Judy Kathleen Galambos
March 14, 1946 ~ October 24, 2026

Judy Kathleen Cryer Hayes Galambos was born to her loving parents Frank and Kathleen Cryer on March 14, 1946 in Saskatoon, SK. She remained in Saskatoon after high school where she later fell in love with a childhood friend, William John Hayes. They were married September 9, 1967 and started a family. Judy had 2 daughters, Catherine and Colleen and continued to live in Saskatoon. After John passed away, Judy met Robert Donald Galambos. They were married March 5, 1977 and extended their family, welcoming a baby boy, Frank. They raised their family 5 on a farm west of Wakaw. The city girl quickly learned to be a country girl. After Robert passed away Judy raised her 3 kids alone with the support of her dad, who lived with her since the passing of her mom. Judy worked at Columbian Industries in Cudworth, then Gift store in Wakaw where she later purchased and renamed Judy’s Treasures. After she sold her store, she then worked as the manager in the Subway at Crossroads until she retired. She loved having coffee every morning with her friends until she moved to Saskatoon to live with Colleen. Judy was hospitalized and with great  sadness passed away on October 24, 2026. She was a special lady to all who knew her.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Faith Community Church in Wakaw, SK on Friday, October 30 at 10:30 a.m with Rev. Brian Walton as Officiant. Interment of the Urn will follow at the Wakaw United Church Cemetery. Donations in memory of Judy may be sent to Diabetes Canada.
