(Joseph) Lazar Morin, age 68 years, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015, in Sandy Bay, SK. He was born on Sunday, September 8, 1946 in Island Falls, SK. A Chapel Service was held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 30 at River Park Memorial Chapel with Officiant, Mrs. Margaret Ferchuk. Wake Services were held Friday, January 30 and Saturday, January 31 at Garry Morin Memorial Hall. The Funeral Service was held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 1 from Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, Sandy Bay. Father Susai Jesu officiated. Lazar leaves to mourn his loving family: his wife of 37 years Jean (nee MacLachlan) Morin; his daughter Natalie Morin and her children Shyanna and Kael; his son Harold Morin and his children Ethan and Nathaniel; his brothers Louis P. Morin and daughter Casey, Hilliard Morin and Eddy Morin, Stan (Liz) Merasty; his sister Judith Morin and daughter Shaylene and granddaughter Emma Morin Daniels; his sister-in-law Adele Morin; his brother-in-law Gordon Glover; his special cousin Mathew Morin; his special friends Laura McCallum and Dale Ross; numerous nieces, nephews and relatives. He was predeceased by: his parents Cyril and Victoria (nee McDonald) Morin; his brother Harry Morin; his sisters Susan Morin, Patricia Glover, Doris Morin; his nephew PJ Bear; numerous aunties and uncles.
