Joseph Masuskapoe

With broken hearts the family of Joseph Thomas Masuskapoe, late of Ahtahkakoop First Nation, sadly announce his sudden passing on January 11, 2017 at the young age of 17 years. Joseph was born on March 21, 1999 to Leon and Sheamona (nee: Bear) Masuskapoe.
The Wake Service for Joseph commenced on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. from the Ahtahkakoop First Nation Band Hall and the Funeral Service began on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 1:00pm at the band hall.
Joseph is lovingly remembered by: his parents, Leon and Sheamona Masuskapoe; his siblings: Austin Albert, Sharon Albert, Janelle (Desmond Ermine) Masuskapoe, Marisa (Ashley Okemaysim) Masuskapoe and Rebekkah Masuskapoe. He is also survived by his grandparents, Edward (Clara) Masuskapoe and Barbara Masuskapoe as well as his nieces and nephews: Jerry, Tarron, Sam, Shay, Viola, Johnathon, Austin and Aiden along with numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
Joseph was predeceased by: his maternal grandparents, Richard and Viola Bear and his great grandmother, Cecilia Masuskapoe.
The pallbearers were: Jarrid Moneybird, Jordan Knife, Desmond Ermine, Lyndon Umpherville, Ashley Okemaysin and Silas Benjamin. Honorary pallbearers are all family and friends who knew and loved Joseph.
