Joseph Drewett, age 67, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2014 in La Ronge, SK. A Wake Service was held at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 29 at Kitsaki Hall, La Ronge. His Funeral Mass was held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 30 from St. John Vianney Roman Catholic Church, La Ronge. Officiants were Reverend Beryl Whitecap and Alvina Bird. Joseph is survived by his loving family: his wife Rema (nee Ratt) Drewett; his children Burton Ratt, Grace (Scott) Roberts, Valerie (Colin) Sanderson, Wendy Ratt, Connie Ross, Louisa Beatty; his special children Cheyenne Venne, Tori McKenzie, Melanie Ross, Shakira Forest, Draven Bird, Austin Bird, Everett Bird; his grandchildren Nevada, Dakota, Germaine, Krista, Aaron, Ashley, Scott, Axl, Christina, Mercedes, Sierra, Roger, Melanie, Kurt, Kate, Konner; his great grandchildren Draden, Jaylynn, Brody, Kaynin, Aria, Asher, Rosalia, Gary; his godchildren Draven, Axl; his brothers and sisters Edward Laliberte, Raymond (Burlene) Laliberte, Emmanuel (Marie) Laliberte, Rosa Patterson, Rita (Norman) Bear, Gertrude Aubichon, Eda Laliberte, Lorraine (Leonard) Laliberte, Francis Laliberte, Edward Aubichon, Jim (Myrtle) Laliberte, Michael (Wanda) Laliberte, Victor Laliberte; his mother-in-law Angelique Brown; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Sidley Brown, Thompson Ratt, Lana Brown, Sharon Bird, Rachel (Roger) Venne, Nora (Wesley) Ballantyne. He was predeceased by: his mother Matilda Laliberte; his father William Reagan; his foster parents Edward & Grace Theresa Drewett; his brothers Arthur Sr., Isadore, Jules and Michael Laliberte; his sisters-in-law and brother-in-law Wendy Ratt, Mary Ratt, Jack & Jill Ratt. Joseph was born Novemberr 20, 1946 in Green Lake, SK. Interment took place in the La Ronge & District Cemetery.
