Joseph Kacher

Joseph Kacher, born November 10, 1935 in Poland, passed away peacefully in Prince Albert Victoria Hospital on August 20, 2018.
Joe immigrated to Canada with his parents and two siblings when he was 3 ½. They settled in the Paddockwood area, where he grew up and worked as a farm laborer on his parents’ farm and neighboring farms. He also worked for the Paddockwood Rural municipality.
Joe loved nature and spent a lot of time in the bush cutting wood, picking mushrooms and wild blueberries. Beekeeping was also his favorite hobby. After retirement, Joe moved into the city, but loved returning to the farm often. Joe continued living in Prince Albert until his passing.
Joe will be lovingly remembered by his siblings, Mary Havlicek, Bill (Jane) Kacher, Helen Bedford, Ross (Victor) Kacher, Jerry (Louise) Kacher, Edward (Irene) Kacher, Olga (George) Allen; sister-in-law, Josie Kacher; brothers-in-law, Bob Borrowman, Carl Stockmanski; nieces and nephews, Barb, Betty, Beverley, Heather, Shannon, Debbie, Darren, Craig, Sharlene, Darryl, Marnie and Tyler; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Joe was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Mary Kacher; his brothers, Walter Kacher and Morris Kacher; his sister Anne Borrowman; brothers-in-law, Walter Havlicek and Jim Bedford; and his nephews, Jeffery Kacher, Zane Kacher and Bill Havlicek.
