Joseph Boyechko, late of Weirdale, SK, passed away on August 5, 2015 in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 84 years. Joseph is survived by his wife: Olga Boyechko, his son: John Boyechko, his daughter & son-in-law: Connie & Andrew Molnar, his granddaughters: Ainsley and Cailsey Molnar, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Joseph was predeceased by his father: Michael Boyechko, his mother: Anne Boyechko, his brother: Steve Boyechko, and his sisters: Mary Billay, Nettie Panchuk, Dora Zapuraniuk, and Pauline Manly. Joe Boyechko was born on February 28, 1931, the youngest child of Mike and Anne Boyechko. Joe was a farmer born and raised. He loved everything about farm life: the hard work, the time outdoors, raising crops and cattle, working together with his good friends and neighbours and celebrating a good harvest. Joe also enjoyed small town life: visiting at the post office or hotel, going to country dances in little halls and taking a Sunday drive to check crops. Joe married Olga Kowaliuk in November of 1957 and they began their family with the birth of their son John on the family farm in the Strong Pine area. Later Joe and his family moved to the Weirdale area and had a second child Connie. Joe remained on the family farm for more than 40 years, working and providing for his family. He would not have had it any other way. The family of Joe Boyechko would like to thank you for your support in this difficult time, and ask that in lieu of flowers all donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in his name, 54 – 11th St E, Prince Albert, SK S6V 0Z9.
