Jordon Lomsnes

With heavy hearts the family of the late Jordon Lomsnes, late of Kimberly, B.C. formerally of Big River, SK announce his sudden passing on March 8, 2013 at the age of 47 years. A Celebration Of Jordon's Life will take place on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the Big River Community Hall. Interment will take place in Big River Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Jordon's memory to the Big River Community Centre.
Jordon is lovingly survived by his parents, Len & Marlene Lomsnes of Big River, SK; his siblings, Marcia (Don) Holyk and their children Ashley, Dallas, Brooklyn and Madison and great nephew Knox; Cayla (Collin) Colby and their children James, Quinn and Tegan; Cory (Jen) Lomsnes and their son Riley, and his only son Cody Christianson; his former wife and special friend, Kelly Amrow, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. Jordon was predeceased by his grandparents, Anna & Reidar Lomsnes, Gerald & Margaret Evans; his uncles, Andrew Lomsnes, and Ken & Don Evans.
Jordon graduated from Big River High in 1983. His work ethic started early while logging alongside his dad. He went on to pursue work in insurance, Airlines and Grant Gold Mines up until his present position as supervisor of the process plant with Diavic Diamond Mines in NWT. Those who remember Jordon, will remember him as a fun loving man who enjoyed life to the fullest traveling and spending time with family and friends. WE LOVE AND MISS YOU JORDON!!
