It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Jonas Sr. “Seh-ver” Dzeylion, late of Wollaston Lake, SK on July 22^nd, 2023, at the age of 64 years. Jonas was born on May 6^th, 1959, in La Ronge, SK to Lucy & Modest Dzeylion. Jonas will be lovingly remembered by his wife Adele; his special companion Jeannie Cheba; his children Christina (John Paul), Jonas Jr. (Marlena), Priscilla (Leon), Therese (Alex), Jeanette (Jason), Lynette, Jordon, Edwin, Adonis, & Eddrick; his grandchildren Cynthia (Tristen), Caydence, Dawson, Rose, Mercedes, Zarrin, Tristen R, Cedrick, Rayden, Alexia, Araya, Chastity, Lance, Brooke, Jaylin, Kirstin, & Lilah; his great-grandchildren Ryder, Carson, Kade, Alexander, & Reagan; his brothers William (Veronique), Joseph (Florence), Emil (Margaret), Martin (Sally), David (Bernadette), & Jimmy (Rose); his adopted sisters Alice Tss, & Flora Natomagan; his adopted brothers Gabriel Benonie & Jerome Sr. Benonie; his godchildren Leroy Dz, Shantelle Cook, & Janet Throassie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, & friends. Jonas was predeceased by his daughter Margaret Kkaikka; his son-in-law Ryan Tsannie; his parents Lucy & Modest Dzeylion; his siblings Alex, Napoleon, Leon, & Jimmy; his parents-in-law Jimmy & Therese Kkaikka; his adopted parents Louis & Annie Benonie; his special friend Charlie Throassie; as well as numerous cousins, extended family, & friends. A Wake Service will be commencing Thursday, July 27^th, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the residence of Priscilla Dzeylion in Wollaston Lake, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 29^th, 2023, at 2:00 PM at St. Adrian Roman Catholic Church in Wollaston Lake, SK. The Officiant will be Father Joji Chandamala. The Honourary Pallbearers are Phillip John Blacklake, Louis Josie, George Tsannie, Gabriel Joseyounen, JB Michell, Adam Benonie, Marie & JB Benonie, Bart Tsannie, Eva Besskkaystare, Gerald Tsannie, Joseph Beavereye, John Sylvester, Soloman Joseyounen, Owen Kkaikka, Clyde Sha’Oulle, Freddie Throassie, Ovide Sha’Oulle, Joseph Sha’Oulle (Annie), Mary & Gabriel, and all those who shared in Jonas’s life. The Pallbearers are Michael Samuel, John Kkaikka, Pierre Kkaikka, Emil Tsannie, Lawrence Beavereye, Michael Kkaikka, Howard Sandypoint, Alice Cheba, Tim McComber, Daniel Alphonse, Simon Tsannie, & Joseph Sha’Oulle. The Interment will take place at the Hatchet Lake Cemetery in Hatchet Lake, SK.
